The M&E (Maintenance & Engineering)- department of our client in IJmuiden is hiring Single and Multi-skilled Engineers with drive, passion and a demonstrated technical and/or engineering background.
Worktimes: you work in a 5-shift pattern - monday - sunday : (06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 / 22.00 - 06.00)
Responsibilities:
- You must be able to swiftly respond to production breakdowns
- You will deliver planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of highly automated machinery such as conveyors, extruders, palletisers, vacuum packers, form sealers and wrapping machines
- You must be able to carry out fault finding on PLC systems
- You will ensure high factory reliability is achieved by performing quality machine and plant support
- You will provide general support in Engineering department
- You will ensure optimum performance is achieved through effective and consistent setting of the production machine
- You will be responsible to meet the engineering standards across the Plant
- You will ontribute to continuous improvement projects
What we offer
- Salary between € 3200 - € 4017 gross per month based on 36 hours per week, depending on your workexperience
- Salary gross per hour: between € 20,50 - € 25,75 (this is including 28,5% shift allowance), depending on your workexperience
- 20 paid holidays days/year, not included in the weekly salary

What we need
- You have have a technical education & background
- For the single skilled engineer: Engineering education level either HND level or NVQ L3 in a Mechanical related discipline
- For the multiple skilled engineer: HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electronic/Electrical Engineering Experience in a dual-skilled environment (electrical & mechanical)
- You have > 3 years elevant work experience as a Maintenance Engineer on a busy production line involving both mechanical and electrical machinery.
- You have experience in a manufacturing or food-processing environment
- You communicate well in English, as well in speaking as writing/reading
- You have your own car & valid driver's license (because you will work in 5 shifts)
