For an international client in the IJmuiden region we are looking for an experienced production machine operator. The role of the machine operator here is to guarantee the production process. You will be dealing with various machines, which you must be able to operate and adjust correctly. You will work in shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Operating, adjusting, and setting up various machines
- Resolving minor issues with different machines
- Assisting with: filling and closing of cans, preparation of sauces, labelling and packaging of products
- Keeping the workplace clean
- Administrative processing of various data
What we offer
- Salary in case you have your own accommodation & health insurance: +/- € 2746,- net per month based on 36h
- Salary in case you need accommodation: +/- € 2167,- net per month based on 36h after deduction of single room, health care insurance & taxes
- Salary in case you need accommodation: +/- € 500,- per week after deduction of single room, health care insurance & taxes
- Salary € 19,55 gross/h (shift allowance of 27,5% is included in this salary)
- Stable work, 36 hours per week + the possibility to work overtime
- Dutch employment contract, also available in English language
- 20 paid holiday days/ year, not included in the weekly salary

What we need
- You have a 3-5 years of experience as a machine operator, preferably in the food industry
- A valid VAPRO-A/B, VCA and forklift certificate would be an advantage
- You have technical knowledge
- If you speak Dutch, it would be a great advantage
- But in case you do not speak the Dutch language yet, you need to have effective communication skills in English and the willingness to start a Dutch language course in the short term
- You are willing to work in a 4-shift system
- You have a valid driving license and your own car
- You are flexible, well-motivated and have logical thinking skills
- You are proactive, have a good work ethic, and pay attention to quality and safety
